Speaking at Dynamics Minds 2025
I attended Dynamics Minds in Slovenia for the first time this year to speak about The AI-Enabled Advantage. One of the patterns I’ve observed in the companies that are committing to AI from the top (Board and C-suite) down is that they are creating an environment where instead of fearing AI, people are able to use it to innovate.
I was a speaker at the Dynamics Minds in Slovenia
He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.
If you were to ask me what is the most important thing in the world? I would tell you it is people, it is people, it is people.
This whakataukī (Māori proverb) was taught to me at school and has been one of the guiding principles for me in my career. I shared it as part of my kōrero (talk) at Dynamics Minds because even as I encourage people to learn to use AI to help them get stuff done, it’s important to remember that how we care for and relate to each other remains the main thing.
I spoke about the skills that I think we should all focus on improving so that we can relate to each other better, and also improve how we work with AI.
These are:
Conversation
Critical Thinking
Storytelling
Dynamics Minds is a very special conference, I would highly recommend attending if you can get to Slovenia. Beautiful location, thoughtful hospitality, and some of the best connections you’ll make in the global Microsoft community.
It shared this tip as part of my talk - try asking Copilot to help you write better prompts:
“Write me a prompt to use with Copilot based on prompt guidance from Microsoft to help me [specify the task you want help with].”
